Medium:Get Squared™ Ruler by June Tailor
Helpful tips for using your Get SquaredTM Rulers ● Square up two sizes of quilt blocks with one ruler using just your rotary cutter. No need to mark or trace. ● 1/4” seam allowance markings on all four sides of exterior. ● 1/4” seam allowance included on interior square. ● Teardrops allow for complete corner cut of interior square. ● Unique three color printing: Black = 1” and 1/2”, Teal = 1/4” and Magenta = 1/8”. ● 45° markings to visually square block designs. ● Use to fussy-cut large patterned fabrics. To square quilt block to large size of ruler: ● Position and square-up ruler on quilt block. ● For exterior square, trim excess fabric from all four sides of quilt block using your rotary cutter. Note 1/4” seam allowance is accounted for. (Image 1) To square quilt block to small size of ruler: ● Position and square-up ruler on quilt block. ● For interior square, place rotary cutter in teardrop shape and cut along ruler edge through teardrop shape at opposite end.
